SPANISH SAGE

Salvia lavandulaefolia.

Historically growing wild in Spain and southwestern France, evergreen shrubby, woody stems base and herbaceous above, with similar physical characteristics as Sage but little smaller, up to 0.8 mtrs. Spanish sage oil is obtained by the steam distillation of its dried leafs. Should be distilled on summer.
